Baby food diet story: Louisa Eagle says eating jars of baby food has given her a size eight figure … story on MIRROR ONLINE, MAIL ONLINE AND SUN ONLINE …

Louisa adores tucking into baby food…
Louisa claims the jars have given her the perfect size 8 figure
Says obese people should use the baby food diet – rather than spend thousands of pounds on gastric surgery which often leaves people only able to eat soft pureed food.
Student Louisa Eagle claims she has found the perfect way to retain her slim figure – eating jars of baby food.
Louisa, 22, claims not only are they delicious but as the jars are made for babies, they contain very little sugar, salt or additives.
She eats seven to ten jars a day and says they are the perfect portion sizes.
A bonus is they are also easy to carry in her handbag and of course there is no cooking involved. When she is hungry, she simply opens a jar.
Friends and family think her baby food addiction is disgusting.
But Louisa, a vegetarian, says they are delicious.
Louisa began eating baby food around a year ago when her weight went up to ten stones and she wanted to lose two and a half stones in weight.
She says: “I could have had a gastric band – people with a gastric which often leaves people only able to eat pureed foods – but that would have cost thousands of pounds. This is a much cheaper healthier option.
For a long time she only ate baby food. But her weight dropped too much so now she eats some normal food. However, Louisa, a dress size 8 and and 81/2 stones, says she has got so used to her baby food diet that she now prefers it to solid food. She always gets her five a day fruit and veg from the jars but has main meals too – consuming around 7 to 10 jars a day.
She also devours rusks, which she says are delicious dunked in a mug of tea.
* The baby food diet has been tried by celebrities. Cheryl Cole and Jennifer Aniston are said to have tried it to keep slim.
* However critics claim it can present mouth and jaw problems as the dieter is no longer chewing.
