Joanne Coleman – who had her baby induced so dying husband Gary could be a dad – appears on MAIL ONLINE and ITV THIS MORNING…
Having already gained Joanne Coleman deals with The Sunday People, Take a Break and Reveal magazine, we were delighted to place her story yet again – this time with the Daily Mail and ITV This Morning.
Millions have now read – and cried – as they read Joanne’s bitter-sweet story. Husband Gary was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and then, just as they thought he had beaten it, she became pregnant.
Shortly after the news they were expecting their first baby, doctors broke the news that Gary’s cancer was terminal.
The couple found out they were expecting a baby girl and Gary bought clothes and birthday cards for her. But he began deteriorating fast and concerned he might die before his daughter was born, doctors agreed to induce the birth.
Baby Amba was safely delivered and Gary, a soldier, was able to hold her and know the joy of being a dad. Tragically, he died seven days later.
Since his death Joanne has thrown herself into raising awareness of this cancer and also helped to raise money for various charities.
The multiple deals gained by Featureworld have helped Joanne share her story with millions who’ve been moved to tears by what she has gone through.
No-one can ever take the pain and suffering away from losing a loved one. But we know from past experience that many interviewees find sharing a story in magazines, newspapers and on TV is a welcome distraction from grief. Many also find it helps that something positive does come out of such a terrible time and gain satisfaction in knowing they are helping a charity and raising awareness. At the same time it gives families precious cuttings of their loved ones.
We are experts at gaining our interviewees multiple deals for their stories. If you have lost someone close and would like your story to feature in a newspaper, magazine or on TV contact us to the right of this page>>>
