Featureworld interviewee Hayley Goleniowska’s daughter Natty appears in the DAILY MAIL and DAILY TELEGRAPH newspapers…
We are delighted that a little girl whose story we originally broke has been chosen to be the face of Sainsbury’s for their back to school campaign.
Two years ago Natty’s mum Hayley Goleniowska emailed us to tell the story of her daughter, who has Down’s Syndrome.
Natty had been chosen to model for some children’s clothing companies – something that when Natty was born, Hayley never dreamed would be possible.
At the same time, Hayley had recently begun her blog Downs Side Up to help give advice to other families who had a child with Downs.
We have placed Hayley’s story in THE SUN, THE DAILY MAIL, MAIL ON SUNDAY, ITV TELEVISION and BELLA magazine, giving Natty great publicity.
Since then Hayley’s blog has gone from strength to strength and she has won many awards for her inspirational site. Hayley also recently published a book with Natty’s older sister Mia, ‘I love you Natty’.
Natty – real name Natalia – has also blossomed even more and taken on more modelling work. She has now been chosen by Sainsbury’s for their Back to School campaign online, in stores and in magazines this summer.
The story of how Natty, now aged seven, has made it in the tough, competitive world of child modelling appears in the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph as well as other publications.
We are absolutely thrilled for mum Hayley, dad Bob and delightful older sister Mia – we always knew Natty was going to be a little star!

Thank you thank you Alison for starting the ball rolling in such a forceful way and for supporting our journey. It has truly felt like a marathon, not a sprint and I am surprised it’s still news. But we are very proud of little Natty and all her achievements.
As we both know it has seemed like a marathon at times and we have both been through quite a lot together. But sure you’ll agree it has all been so worthwhile. For me, seeing an interviewee’s journey through like this is why I am a journalist.
