Story in the SUNDAY MIRROR newspaper…
Michelle Inch wanted to sell a story about how her horse Roseleigh adores being glammed up as a real life ‘my little pony’.
At the same time she wanted to promote her innovative and creative – as well as very colourful! – products for horses.
Michelle spends hours dying her horse’s mane into multi colours, etching colourful designs on her hide and attaching fake jewels. Her mare Roseleigh even has her hooves painted with special pink animal nail polish.
Her horse beautifying treatment has proved controversial. None of the paints are toxic but Michelle admits some people are horrified to see her horse dressed up in such a way.
However she claims far from being cruel, her pet horse, whom she rescued from the knacker’s yard, adores being dressed up as ‘my little pony.’
“When I am colouring in a design on her back, she nuzzles into me,” says Michelle, a mum of one.
Since setting up her business Equidivine selling the accessories to anyone can turn their horse into a replica of the best selling toy, My Little Pony, thousands of customers have placed orders with her.
She realises putting make up on horses, is controversial but Michelle, who has owned horses since she was aged 13 adds as a bonus many of her fun products, such as the pink hoof balm, are good for a horses’ hooves.
Michelle also runs another dog grooming business – Pawfection – pampering and colouring pooches too in the same way.
Featureworld placed Michelle’s quirky story in the Sunday Mirror, which also gave her business a plug.
Michelle’s story has now been placed with TWO magazines and she has since appeared on ITV This Morning!
