Get Publicity!

Alison will be your publicist

Sell your story for JUSTICE …  and gain worldwide publicity for your story.

Sometimes the only way to gain justice is through worldwide exposure in the national press. As a journalist who always puts interviewees first, I will work with you to ensure you gain the maximum worldwide publicity for your story.

In these cases it isn’t necessarily a matter of selling your story for the most cash. It is more important that your story is printed in the national press, which will gain you the most publicity. However, money for your story is still of importance as raising money can help you in your fight for justice.

Other people want to tell their story to warn others. Again, selling your story for money often isn’t the top priority but of course it is always helpful – after all, you might want to sell your story to enable you to pay for legal fees, a website or leaflets.

Featureworld is able to organise press coverage immediately throughout the UK and worldwide. Email me, Alison Smith-Squire, to find out more here alison@featureworld.co.uk

IS THE FOOD WE FEED OUR PETS KILLING THEM?

When Fiona Macmillan emailed me through my sell my story form, asking me to investigate her story, I was only too pleased to do so.

Fiona believed her beloved cat Jaggers had endured a preventable and painful death at a relatively young age because on vet’s advice, she had fed him processed pet food.

I investigated her concerns and found out that many other people also shared her views and were also concerned about processed petfood.

Swine Flu Publicity StorySCANDAL OF THE SWINE FLU CENTRES…

Ashleigh, an 18 year-old student who was working at a swine flu centre during a gap year, came to me because she was upset by the shoddy service and advice she believed the centres were giving patients.

Ashleigh’s story appeared in the Daily Mail newspaper.

Ashleigh said: “I had to leave the swine flu centre I worked for because I couldn’t face being there any longer. I was so pleased that you took my concerns seriously and highlighted them in the newspaper.”

A HEAD TEACHER’S DOWNFALL…

Teacher's Publicity

Former head teacher Lynn Spode wanted the chance to tell her side of her story.

She was accused of stalking a colleague and through it had lost her job.

Lynn said: “Alison, apart from my supportive family, you were the only one who has listened to my side. Thank you so much for putting it in the newspaper.”

Lynn’s emotional real-life story was placed in the Daily Mail newspaper.

She is now researching a book, which she hopes will be a best seller.

“I hope one day you can write a story in a newspaper or magazine about me again, only this time about me as an author.”

WHY I’M ASHAMED TO BE A VET…

Vet's StoryVet Matthew Watkinson wanted to expose some of the unnecessary operations he believes vets do on animals.

Matthew, who has written a book on the subject, was delighted to see his story in the Daily Mail newspaper. Matthew even texted me the morning the story was printed to tell me incredibly the story had made the FRONT PAGE of the newspaper. Naturally, he was thrilled.

Matthew’s story caused a storm amongst the veterinary profession, many of whom were naturally furious he had spoken out. But Matthew says: “I was absolutely delighted to get this story out into the public domain at last!”

Since the article appeared in the newspaper, Matthew has been inundated with offers to do further publicity, including appearing in TV documentaries and on radio.

How social services left one man with a terrible moral dilemma …

Dad of three Michael Shergold was amazed when social services contacted him to say he had a son he knew nothing about. And when he knew his son, from a previous relationship was about to be adopted, he and his wife decided to fight for custody. Sadly, their bid failed.

However, it was then revealed that his son needed an organ transplant and social services wanted him to donate an organ. The awful twist was he would not be allowed to see his son even if he did donate.

The Shergold’s story was finally printed in the Mail on Sunday after the paper fought a legal battle in a bid to print the truth.

Says Michael: “Alison was our only chance of getting our story out there and it was only because of her dogged perseverance and the support of the Mail on Sunday newspaper that our story was finally printed.”

Their story has since been placed with Best magazine. To read it in the Mail on Sunday newspaper click here.
